Retail & Forecourt Solutions Ltd. operate testing, calibration and verification services throughout the UK. Our work is normally scheduled to suit our customers operational needs, keeping disruption to a minimum. Post testing we provide full documentation for wet-stock reconciliation and assurance that all customer-specific as well as statutory requirements have been fulfilled. Our technicians carry certificates showing the calibration status of their measures which can be produced on request. For multi-site organisations we provide you with access to your results via a secure website. We do not believe that an ad-hoc test completed using a 'tin measure', in an unknown state of calibration, really provides peace of mind. All of our measuring equipment is independently tested by a qualified body at least three times annually to ensure accuracy. R.F.S.Ltd. engaged by a range of operators - the key aim being to save money, assist in compliance with legal requirements, and provide peace of mind. As a specialist provider of testing, calibration and verification services we are impartial to equipment type. Our service provides accurate information on the actual performance of your dispensers. Testing is undertaken by trained technicians using high-spec, regularly calibrated measures (controlled under a Quality System). Our procedures are fully documented and audited, ensuring compliance with our customers requirements. We maintain a complete history of every test, this information is available to our customers in any format. All staff including management have
attended the SPA Safety Passport Training Course and obtained their
Safety Passports. This is also supported by a continuous training
programme 'in house' which keeps Safety at the top of the agenda.
All aspects of what we do and how we do it are continually reviewed. |

CALIBRATION |

Following testing, where adjustment to 'strike' is required, these will be completed to meet legal requirements and the customers specification. Prior to calibration we consult current technical and statutory information to ensure compliance with Section 12 Notices including amendments. For adjustment where self-verification
cannot be employed RFS Ltd. will arrange and attend on Trading
Standards on your behalf. |

SELF-VERIFICATION |

We are licensed by the DTI to complete 'Self-Verification' on certain types of equipment where it falls outside of the legal tolerances. In September 2001 RFS Ltd. obtained extension to the range of equipment that can be verified to include the Marconi range. In October 2003 this was further extended to include the Tokheim range of equipment. Where RFS are able to complete verification at the time of scheduled testing and calibration our overall rates are extremely competitive. We are working to
further extend the
range of equipment for which we are able to offer a self-verification
service. It is anticipated that the legal scope will be widened to
enable us to self-verify on a similar basis to Trading Standards
authorities, with the additional benefits offered by our overall focused
service. |
